3 WAYS TO BOOST YOUR FITNESS

Like it or not, folks are obsessed with fitness. Whether it is the best foods to buy at the grocery store to burn fat and experience optimal health or the simplest yoga exercises for being fit.

You are looking to maximize your activities to get the best possible result for your body.

So then, it would seem like the next logical step would be to apply this mentality to sex. Though you may have never thought about it this way before, having sex is a great way to burn calories!

That’s right!

With the average length of sex lasting 7.4 minutes (for intercourse alone, not counting foreplay) you can burn some calories.

On average men burn 100 calories and 69 calories are burned for woman. This is pretty incredible, and is about consistent/greater then running.

It’s time to maximize and boost your fitness when you are under the sheets.

Pace Yourself

To boost your fitness while having sex, the first thing you should consider is your pace.

It is better to do 20 minutes at ¾ your normal speed then 10 minutes all out.

Think endurance sports, such as a marathon. No need to do the 100 meter dash in this instance. 😉

As a result, like any kind of exercise, you should work to pace yourself with your spouse.

This can be easier if the two of you take turns leading, allowing you to have recovery time before beginning again.

Plan Your Actions

Try to think three steps ahead.

Different positions and different parts of the sexual act require you to expend different amounts of energy.

By planning your actions a few steps ahead, you can set up times where you allow your body to rest before going at it again.

With so much to focus on, it can be easy to pace yourself and plan a variety of things with just a little imagination.

Remember, the worst thing that can happen is that you become to taxed and stop early.

Movement

Are you moving around?

If you and your spouse are focusing entirely on doggy style, then you should probably change it up a bit.

Work on moving around to increase your fitness while having sex.

Not everything has to involve thrusting after all.

What it all comes down to is increasing the amount of time you are having sex.

Again at a measly 7.4 minutes for the average sex act, you have a lot of room to improve your fitness.

And, the more you improve your fitness, the longer and more satisfying sex will be.
