639: YOU SEXY BEARDED MAN

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to his facial hair. For some, stubble/facial hair might be a no go for your sexual intimacy. For others you wouldn’t have it any other way. Whichever side you fall on facial hair does have an impact on your sexual intimacy. 

For the majority of couples, facial hair is something that you have experienced. 2020 saw more men growing beards because there simply was no reason to shave when we were all stuck at home. Let’s face it, the bearded man became a thing. 

It’s easy to say, this topic has likely impacted your sexual intimacy at one point or another.

So, how do the two of you communicate about a topic that is so personal? 

Just like all topics, this one calls you to problem solve and talk it out. When faced with circumstances that you might not agree upon, where can you find the win?

• Purchasing good beard trimmers (sharper blades do a better job)
• Keeping things trimmed and manicured.

Ladies, if your husband wants to grow a beard and you are resistant to change, it’s also important to explore why. What are the preconceived notions that you have around him being bearded? What are your concerns?  

It’s critical that instead of giving him a quick (and dismissive) “NO” you keep the lines of communication open AND are willing to hear each other out. In doing this you can actually find new things that you both like. Who knows, he might just turn out to be your sexy bearded man!
