Foreplay. It’s that stuff that happens before sex.
It can be anything and everything that leads up to the act and sometimes foreplay is the whole thing itself.
It’s both emotionally and physically intimate with the goal to create sexual arousal and desire for sexual activity.
Although foreplay is typically understood as a physical/sexual activity, nonphysical activities, such as mental or verbal acts, can be foreplay for many people.
What’s important to know is foreplay matters.
When it comes to foreplay, one of the things many people struggle with is finding foreplay that checks all the boxes for them. That’s because great foreplay isn’t just about your sexual intimacy. Like all situations within your marriage, there are multiple pillars of intimacy involved in the experience.
That’s because foreplay doesn’t just warm up the body, it warms up the mind and when those two things are fully engaged sex is mind blowing.
Foreplay isn’t just about the sex. It’s about how the two of you are being physical with one another and how the two of you are connecting emotionally. It’s what the two of you are doing together in the lead up to sex.
