669: THE SIZE OF YOUR BED

“Happiness is not size specific.Anonymous

size of your bed

The size of your bed isn’t just about how it’s going to fit in your room. It’s about the other things that you do in that bed, like have sex, cuddle during the night, read and whatever else you do.

It’s been said that 8 hours of sleep is recommended and 8 hours is ⅓ of your day. The size of your bed is important.

So your bed is a very important piece of furniture. Big bed, small bed, that’s up to you. But feeling comfortable in your bed together is what’s most important.

Truth be told it can get hot when you sleep close together.

Plus add in kids, pets and more and a smaller bed may not work so well for you.

The size of your bed isn’t just 54” or 60” or even 76” it’s about the connection that the two of you foster when you are in it and what may be going on in it.

If you are trying to figure out if you need a bigger or smaller bed, you should ask yourself a few questions.

  • Does the size of your bed meet your cuddle needs?
  • Your sleeping needs?
  • Your sexual needs?
  • What else may happen in that bed? Will you watch TV? Hang out?
  • Are kids going to be co-sleeping with you?

Once you figure that out, you can then explore things like the cost (they do vary depending on the size and materials used to make the mattress).

You’ll also want to explore what materials feel most comfortable for sleep and all the other things you do in it.

Your bed is the place where the two of you will a lot of time together. It should be a place that fits you and your needs. And getting a good night’s sleep is important to your health!
