Testimonials

Do you know what it is like to have a friend who just understands what you are going through or if they don’t they will still be there to listen? That is how Tony and Alisa have helped us out. Being newly weds my husband and I are finding tough waters to tread. Having the Di Lorenzo’s in our corner gives us an understanding that there is always clam waters ahead and to just keep holding onto each other even when it seems impossible. They are like the living proof and not just good thoughts, if you know what I mean. They are great people individually, but together and with their ever present faith in the Lord they are amazing. We listen with open minds to take to heart and put in practice what ever their advice or suggestions may be. It is comforting to know that they are humble enough to admit they don’t know it all, but when they don’t they will be praying for you.

Dear Tony and Alisa,

Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you what ONE has meant in our lives. Simply put: a spark has been reignited in our marriage. I stumbled on your podcasts about 5 or 6 weeks ago at a time when I was feeling a little frustrated with the quality of intimacy in our marriage. I could identify with how you described yourselves before your 60 day challenge. It’s not that we had a terrible love life – at times it has been fantastic – but after having a child and being married 10 years, things lately had become…unremarkable. I started telling Barbara about your podcasts and she started listening to them, and it sparked some open and honest conversations between us about our intimacy. We’ve recommitted to making intimacy a top priority in our marriage, and you guys inspired that.

So I just wanted to say thanks. It’s been a pleasure getting to know you and we look forward to more of ONE.

Every marriage has struggles, and unfortunately we don’t know how to talk to our spouses about them. Opening up and talking freely with Tony and Alisa has taught us to openly discuss our feelings and concerns in our marriage. We’ve never been healthier, happier, or stronger as a couple.

I’ve love your podcast.  I was very moved by the episode in which you talk about the son you lost and wanted to thank you for sharing your story.  As an atheist, I appreciate that you talk about your faith on the show in a way that doesn’t make me feel either judged or excluded from your message.  As a husband and father, I’m grateful for all I’ve learned from you about how to move toward greater intimacy with my wife.  Please keep it up!
