  1. Focusing on Spiritual Intimacy. We met in church, and spent most our dating in church involvement. The we got married and have always gone through the motions of going to church together and even done ministries- but not together bc kids made it harder to do the ministries at the same time. Now though the kids are older, and it is time for change. When we are connected spiritually we really thrive in the other areas. For obvious reason. We have now in this new year started a ministry TOGETHER for the first time in like 12 years:) Leading the childrens worship service. Me singing and playing guitar and he plays drums. Its fitting too btw- since we met through music ministry too:) On the planning agenda I think praying more together and a devotional is on the plate. Happy New Year!

    • This is fantastic Tammy. Thank you so much for sharing what intimacy you are focusing in on this year. Being part of the music ministry is a wonderful way to connect spiritually.

Adding in praying and a devotional is also a key way to connect at a deeper level spiritually. We have been reading Jesus Calling for a couple of years now. Wonderful was to read together and then pray.

      Have an awesome 2014.
