How Much Does Marriage Coach Certification Cost?

We set the price of the 6 Pillars of Intimacy® Certified Coaching Program for each cohort, and it can change from one cohort to the next. The current price, and the payment options that go with it, are on the program page. Here is what that price covers and what it leaves out, with four questions to ask before you pay for any certification, ours included.

How the price is built

The price has two parts, and they work differently.

  • The certification training is a one-time cost. It covers the modules, the manual, the coaching tools, the written exam, and the coaching demonstration you complete to graduate.
  • The certified coach license is an annual cost. Your first year comes with the training, and the license renews each year after that.

We built it this way on purpose. Staying certified means staying connected to updates in the framework and the tools, and the annual license is what keeps that connection open.

You can add a spouse to an individual enrollment, so a couple who wants to coach together doesn’t need two separate enrollments.

What the training itself includes

The certification is built around the 6 Pillars of Intimacy® framework: Emotional, Physical, Financial, Spiritual, Recreational, and Sexual Intimacy. The training gives you ten modules covering the framework, one deep module per pillar, and the full training manual. You also get the six coaching tools you will use in real conversations. They run from a diagnostic tool for your first read on a couple to a triage and referral guide for the cases that belong with a therapist. You complete your certification with the written exam and the coaching demonstration. For the full breakdown of what each piece does, see What the 6 Pillars certification includes.

What the price does not include

Certification is a credential and a set of tools. The clients and the income are yours to build, in your own coaching practice or inside a counseling or ministry role.

How the cohort works

Each cohort has twelve spots. A couple coaching together takes one spot between them. The next cohort starts January 2027, and a deposit is already in for one of the twelve spots.

How to compare this with any certification

We built this program, so we are not the ones to tell you it beats another one. We can tell you what to ask any certification before you pay for it, ours included:

  • Who teaches it, and have they coached couples themselves? A framework taught by someone with real coaching hours behind it is different from one taught by someone who only built the curriculum.
  • What framework does it use, and can you explain it back after one conversation? If you cannot restate the model in a sentence, it will be hard to use with a couple in front of you.
  • What can you do once you are certified? Ask exactly what the credential allows and what it does not, including whether it requires or replaces a counseling license.
  • What does it cost after year one? A low sticker price with an expensive or unclear renewal can cost you more over time than a price stated in full up front.

If the people running a program cannot answer those four questions clearly, you have learned something worth knowing before you pay.

Ready to enroll or still deciding

If the fit makes sense, the next step is the certification page, where you can see the full program and the current price, and enroll.

You may still be weighing it against another option, or you may lead a ministry and want to talk through how this fits your team. Reach out before you enroll and we will talk it through with you directly.
