SEVEN KEYS TO MARRIAGE SUCCESS

When you think about success what do you think about?

Is it the nice house on the golf course, the Ferrari in the garage, maybe it’s the 2-week vacation in the Caribbean, or the condo in the mountains.

In the world we live in these are all signs of success for sure and yet if your marriage isn’t full of passion, romance and intimacy none of these matter.

Do they?

What if the two of you could be on the same page emotionally, spiritually, financially, and sexually so you can have the passion, romance, and intimacy you desire?

Your marriage can have these and more by reading books, listening to a marriage podcast, and committing quality time to your marriage.

Marriage SUCCESS

Serve Your Spouse

Set your pride and selfishness aside as you make time to serve each other. Be a servant lover. One area that I, Tony, have been able to be a servant lover to Alisa is by making sure the dishes are handled most days of the week.

Understanding “Love” (It’s a verb)

The emotional feelings of love is alive and well when you first met your spouse. Over time these feelings of love fade and yet if you show your love through actions it is amazing how your love will continue on.

Commit to Your Marriage

Have the conversation that both of you are going to put forth 100%/100%. Both of you are going to schedule 10-15 minutes each day to connect.

Challenge Each Other

Get out of your comfort zones and take on the 7 Days of Sex Challenge. One listener said, “We’re so glad we did the 7 Days of Sex Challenge. In two weeks our marriage went from ho-hum to amazing!” Are you ready for a challenge?

Expect Issues to Arise

You live in the real world, not a 30-minute sitcom, and issues will come up in your marriage. You are not alone when it comes to these. Being able to communicate your feelings during these times is key to work through these together.

Stand Firm to Your Commitment

Each and every day wake up knowing that you are going to stand together and honor the commitment you made on your wedding day. Marriage doesn’t guarantee you will be together forever, it’s only paper. It takes love, respect, trust, faith in your marriage to make it last.

Surrender It All to God

Each day make time to give your marriage over to God. By doing this you are living your life from the top down.

Success in your marriage is something you can have for many years to come. By following these 7 Keys to Marriage SUCCESS you will be able to not only enjoy the high points, but be able to overcome the valleys as well.

Draw a line in the sand today and commit to having a successful marriage!
